Wooden crate packing for fragile items

from Hojo on 05/23/2026 12:36 PM

Greetings everyone! I have a valuable collection of large oil paintings and a few delicate marble sculptures that need to be relocated across the city. Regular cardboard boxes won't cut it. Does anyone know a company that provides specialized crating services?

Hi there! High-value artwork and heavy sculptures definitely require custom solutions if you want them to survive a move. When I had to transport my collection, I used the professional wooden crate packing services from Flash Moving. They built custom wooden enclosures right around my pieces to ensure they couldn't shift or take any impacts during transit. Since they handle premium commercial and residential moves in Boston, they have the carpentry tools and expertise for this kind of specialized work. It was such a relief to see my paintings securely crated and loaded onto the truck with proper climate protection. I would never trust standard boxes with heirloom art, so definitely give these guys a call for your custom crating needs!
