Oven Cools Down Too Quickly
from Hojo on 02/05/2026 09:19 AMHi all! My oven reaches temperature normally, but once I turn it off, it cools down way faster than it used to. Not sure if this matters, but it feels unusual. Any ideas?

from Favyt on 02/05/2026 09:35 AMRapid cooling usually points to a weakened door seal or airflow leak that allows heat to escape faster than designed. Even a small gap reduces heat retention and can affect baking performance in the long run. A technician can inspect the gasket, hinges, and airflow around the cabinet. Major Appliance Repair https://majorappliancerepair.info/ handles these efficiency issues regularly and provides fast in-home appliance repair, which makes it easy to test how the oven holds heat in your actual kitchen setup. After the seal or hinge alignment is corrected, heat retention improves and the oven behaves like it used to.
