Dashboard swap: keeping mileage static
from Hojo on 03/22/2026 09:14 AMHi guys. I am finally swapping out my boring analog gauges for a high-definition digital cluster. I need to keep the mileage static while I program the new screen and test the backlight settings. Any advice on how to stop the odometer from ticking up during this?

When I did my swap, I was terrified that the car would sync the wrong mileage or start counting up while I was still messing with the coding. It gave me the freedom to test all the different display modes and menus without the odometer moving an inch.
