Managing spam through fake emails

I feel like I am constantly cleaning out my mail folder every single day. How do you guys manage to stop this endless cycle of incoming spam before it takes over?

The trick is to stop giving your real address to stores and blogs that just want to blast you with ads. Now, I always generate a temp mail box whenever a site asks for an email to show a price or give a discount code. I personally like TempBox because it is fast and requires zero registration. All the promotional clutter goes to that temporary address and then automatically disappears into thin air. My primary account is finally peaceful, and I only see messages from actual people now.
